Candidates should have several years experience handling multiple responsibilities at magazines, newsletters or other publications. Demonstrated newsgathering, writing and editing skills are a must. A prominent position in a specific industry or profession, evidenced by years spent covering a market, and by recognition from leading organizations of that market, is highly desirable. A strong familiarity with the Internet as a research tool and communications medium is also desirable. Basic computer skills are assumed.
